TradeCoach review (2026): what Daren Henderson's Off The Tools Programme offers, what it costs, and a simpler alternative

Who are TradeCoach and what do they sell?

TradeCoach is Daren Henderson, a former driveway and landscaping business owner who, according to his site, built the business to £2m turnover, sold it, and has since coached more than 100 trade owners. The company, Trade Coach Ltd (company number SC682431), was incorporated on 30 November 2020 and is registered in Broxburn, Scotland; the website gives a Livingston address and a Dubai address.

The pitch is that this is not generic business advice: it comes from someone who has run a trade business. The programme is aimed at landscapers, builders, electricians, plumbers, joiners, roofers and decorators who want more profit, more control and to get off the tools.

There are four ways to buy:

• The Off The Tools Programme, Full Course On-Demand, at £6,000. Full access to the modules, WhatsApp support, Monday morning check-ins and all templates.
• The Done-With-You version at £9,000, which adds four one-to-one Zoom coaching calls with Daren and 12 months of access.
• One-to-one and group coaching, priced on a strategy call.
• The Done-For-You Programme at £15,000 plus VAT: the team builds your pricing toolkit, quoting system, recruitment templates, lead generation ads, a website overhaul with SEO, printed marketing materials and a performance review, delivered in four to six weeks with 12 weeks of support, in batches of six clients.

What does TradeCoach cost and what is the commitment?

TradeCoach costs £6,000 or £9,000 for the programme, or £15,000 plus VAT done for you, and both programme options can be paid in full or by payment plan. There is no monthly subscription to cancel; it is a one-off fee for a course, with the done-with-you option giving 12 months of access.

That is simpler than most coaching offers, and in our view it is a point in TradeCoach's favour: you know the number before the call. The FAQ on the homepage does say the more important question is not what it costs but what it is worth, which is coach talk, but the price is still there for anyone who scrolls.

What do customers say about TradeCoach?

TradeCoach has 24 reviews on Trustpilot, every one of them five-star, giving a TrustScore of 4.7 (Trustpilot's score weighs recency and volume, which is why 100 percent five-star does not show as 5.0). The homepage shows a 4.6 badge, slightly behind the live figure.

The reviews are about Daren personally: his knowledge, his directness, the change in how owners price work. One reads "No fluff no BS just proven experience and knowledge" (James Worsley, Trustpilot, February 2026). The site also claims 100-plus trade owners coached and shows client logos.

Twenty-four reviews is a small sample next to Trade Mastermind's 1,364. That is not a mark against TradeCoach, which is a smaller operation, but it means you are relying more on the free strategy call to judge fit. Google and Facebook review counts were not retrievable from public pages, so they are not published here.

Who does TradeCoach suit?

TradeCoach suits an established trade business whose owner is still on site every day and wants a method for pricing properly, building a small team and stepping back. The templates and check-ins are built for that transition, and the £15,000 done-for-you option is for someone who wants the systems built rather than taught.

It suits a one-person business with a marketing problem less well. If the work is good and the phone is quiet, £6,000 buys a lot of content about systems you do not yet have the staff for, and the marketing part still has to be run by you afterwards.

Growth Bull will not teach you to price a job or recruit a second van. If that is the problem, TradeCoach is a reasonable place to get it, and the two run happily side by side: the course for the business, the tool for the reviews.

Verdict

In our view, TradeCoach is one of the more straightforward coaching offers for UK trades: a founder who has done it, published prices, and a small but entirely positive review record. The caution is only that the sample is small, so use the free call to test the fit before spending £6,000.
